So i noticed on the rejection thread, a lot of OOS'ers have been getting the axe pretty early. I also saw someone say that they interview everyone they give a secondary too (OOS)? Is this true? Also, did they mention anything in the letter as to why they rejected? Thanks for the help- if only during this brief period of hope before I get the nice little envelope with IU stamped on the front 🙂

It is true that they only send secondaries to those applicants selected for interview. This is presumably why so many of us OOS applicants are rejected "pre-secondary." Also, there was nothing in the letter that stated why we were rejected. Mine simply stated "your record prevents us from considering your file further" or something along those lines. I can't remember the exact verbage but they definitely said "your record." So I'm guessing it was something in our applications that they didn't like.
