I've just got my NBDE 1 score...(help!)

And it is 84.

Even though I had only 3 weeks to prepare the exam, I feel depressed🙁

I'm a dentist out of the States and plan to apply to postdoctoral program of peridontics.

But I'm not sure that I'll be able to good result with this score.

So how am I going to do?

Retaking NBDE 1 or Going and make good marks on part 2?😕

I don't think I have enough time.

If in three weeks got 84 thats great , you can study more 3 or 5 weeks more and you will got higher score

hey,

i think an 84 after 3 weeks of studying is great, and if you want to jump up a few more points, it should be relatively "easy" considering you now know what level of difficulty to expect for each section. The way Im thinking about my own scores (if i ever get them back...took them nearly 3 weeks ago) is that if i get around an 84/85 thats roughly 75% of the total...to get up to an 88/90 I'd have to work to 80% correct...thats definitely feasible if youre willing to put the time in. good luck!


by the way, when did you take your exam? i took mine feb 9th and still hjavent gotten my scores.
