J-1/ IAP-66 Estimated Time of Arrival

Hi, I am waiting for an IAP-66 and trying to plan a short vacation simultaneously; I know that the standard ECFMG processing time is 4 weeks (6 weeks in heavy phase [this month]).

Has anyone received an IAP-66 in under 4 weeks from the date of submission? In other words, please tell me that it will not take 5 weeks 🙂

I sent in my application about 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard back from the ECFMG. I hope that they issue it quickly, since I have to get the J1 and they're as a 3-4 week FBI clearance period to go through...

because i am a dork, i have found out a way to find out when ecfmg has processed a document which requires a charge. if you login to your oasis account and look at the financial history section, the date that the procedure is charged to your account = the date that the procedure was completed. so after you know that it has been processed, it is up to you to determine whether the iap-66 is in the mail somewhere or with your TPL, or in the mail from your TPL. there is currently no visa status information in OASIS, but it would be nice for it to arrive in the future.
