Would there be any real differences in interviewing in January vs. February?

I have just received an interview invite, with opening next week or early February. I'm mainly concerned with the cost, as the February date would save me around $600, however I know generally the earlier you interview the better as there are more available seats right?

Edit: In hindsight this sounds somewhat neurotic 😆

It's rolling admissions so you have reason to be a bit concerned. That said, $600 is still a considerable amount for travel to campus.
