I have completed half of my undergrad at a community college, but am about to graduate from a prestigious university with a mid 3's gpa. Do you think that my chances are slim because half my undergrad was at a CC or is that more of a trivial detail? Thanks.

there's a ceiling to the amount of JC work that d-schools accept (60 units at most schools). I did 51 units in 2 semesters to boost my gpa and it only served to reinforce my perseverence and dedication to become a dentist. as long as your numbers are good you'll get the interview... and as long as you don't have two left feet at interview, you'll get in, no questions asked.

i have about 70 units from the jc, but will that really matter once i am graduated from a 4-year, or am I screwed?

I had 75 credits from a CC, I also had 60 credits from a 4-year too.
