i went to a competative jesuit undergrad, and im just wondering if there is any preference when applying to jesuit med schools [loyola, creighton, slu, georgetown].... any experience with this?

I have heard that the secondary at Georgetown probes this issue a bit.

there's all sorts of religions represented at loyola...i've heard from some people that loyola likes people to be religious, but preference isn't necessarily given to catholics...more catholics apply to the jesuit school and therefor have greater representation...someone who's been thru the process could comment better than i could, but that's the impression i've gotten. loyola's my top choice 😉

loyola's my top choice right now too! [though lets be honest, ill say yes to whoever takes me!!] im just hoping that they'll give me a lil' nod... good luck with your apps!

I was never asked about religion at Loyola, Georgetown however did on the secondary (I believe). Creighton also did not ask, even during the interview.
