Job availability if not board certified

Being Board eligible will get you interviews, but many jobs are contingent on Being board certified. Are you delaying taking boards or just not going to take?
Just delaying by 1 year. But wasnt sure if being board certified in at least pulmonary would be a requirement

Shouldn’t be a huge issue, just be prepared to answer why you delayed.
Can't comment on Pulm specifically, but most contracts have a BC timeline typically of 3-5 years after finishing fellowship. No real need to jump on all the boards immediately, as long as you have a plan.
