Joint Recommendation Letter??

Hi Everyone,

Writing this because one of my ry recommenders had an idea. Is it possible to submit a joint letter in AMCAS from recommenders? For reference, in 2019 I shadowed a doc at Duke for a week, and then was invited to shadow him and his wife at a small community hospital in California (they moved) last year. They suggested a joint letter so they could combine their thoughts since shadowing was done with the same people at different places.

Is this possible? If so, how do i go about it in AMCAS?

I think you can have 2 signatures on letter, provided it retains the official letterhead. You'd list the more senior/main person you had the interaction with as the LOR in AMCAS. Have heard of people doing this but am not 100% sure if rules/expectations have changed, I'd contact AAMC to clarify.
