hi all...

i am now studying from the kaplan book which i think it is an excellent source to study for the exam,, but yesterday my friend gave me the Barron's BOOK which everyone seems to mention here..i browsed the Barron test and i thought the biology questions were straight forward questions..it was either too easy questions or i have the knowledge 😀..is it the same questions we might see at the real exam..plz advise us if u already took the exam in june..thanks

Mike

I own Kaplan, Barrons and Cliff's book and the content of Barrons was way too easy compared to the actual test. Kaplan was really good for review, but it is still very hard to study for the math section. Also, Kaplan is missing a lot of Orgo.

so do u think kaplan is good source for math and biology,,what about kaplan questions compared to the real exam,,,,wt about cliffs

Kaplan's biology section is really good, but their math and chem section are lacking. I felt that the math section on any of those 3 books did not accurately reflect or prepare me for actual math section on the real test. The math questions on the actual pcat were just too random. As for the chem section of the Kaplan, its really good for general chem, but only has a couple pages of O-chem. You'll probably want to study ochem I extra if you're gonna go with Kaplan.
