Just accepted off a Waitlist. What do I do with my new current application?

So, it's the end of July and there was no hope to be found. After retaking the MCAT and preparing a new and improved application, I get an acceptance the day after I submit it.

Which is awesome.

I was wondering if I had to do anything about the new application?
Do I email the individual schools and say that I will withdraw?

yes, just email every school that your are withdrawing on the apps you submitted secondaries for.

If you haven't submitted any secondaries just forget about it.

Congrats! So happy for you! Sorry you had to go though all that.This process is tough!
I think I remember on AMCAS where you can log in and just withdraw from the schools there.
I may be wrong but check, that might be easiest.

Congrats!

There is a checkbox on the original application that will withdraw the new application after you resubmit it. If you check this box, you cannot reapply this season, so be very sure that you were accepted and that it wasn't an error. Since you have not been verified, you will get back your application money, except for the basic fee for the first school.
