I'ma take my time..gotta get the financials... if they give me a big scholarship..maybe..but it seems to me that Irvine wants to be what SD is..and clinically, Irvine seems to have less of a good setup (Long Beach VA is far, so is the med center)...

How does Irvine want to be what SD is? Most people agree that UCSD's main strength is its basic science research and large amount of NIH dollars. I don't think Irvine is aiming to become another UCSD.

Who cares how far away the hospitals are? At either place you still have to get in a car and drive places.
