Why is that most of the dental students like to identify themselves with dentisty

I mean like

toothlaw,dentisthusband,dentalhusband,toothmail,dent2003,freshsmile, dds-fight,dentist4u,dentalindia, smartdentist,superdent, smiledentist,toothguy,molar2molar,anotherdent,compudentist etc.

Others who are non-dentists dont seem to be so obsessed about their identity..did anyone else notice that ?

some people on the medical forum do have it too, Md2binTn. medicine2006 etc...

A few but not a lot, not that I have a problem with it, its just an observation.

How come you call yourself " itsme" ?

When I was looking for a name , I looked around and guess what I saw ?

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it, I was just curious.
If you re-read my post you'll know why I called myself post-it.

I wonder how will an urologist obsessive compulsive with its identity, will identify himself in SDN? 😛

Greene Vardiman Black

The most commanding personality in dentistry in the 19th century was Greene Vardiman Black. He provided the first comprehensive systematization, classification and nomenclature in operative dentistry. Through years of meticulous research, he produced the first balanced silver amalgam restorative material. He did exhaustive research and wrote standard textbooks on Dental Anatomy, Operative Dentistry and Pathology. He developed teaching aids and methods. He instigated curricular changes in dental education -- and the list goes on.

i thought Pierre Fauchard was the father of dentistry! hmmm.......

I copy pasted that paragraph from the link posted above it, so I wasn't the one doing the research. But it wouldn't surprised me that he went into all fields of dentistry back in the days.....
