Some people are probably neanderthals when it comes to socially stressful situations like interviews. At the interview it's your gig to lose so don't shoot yourself in the foot and you'll be fine.
I had a friend apply to med school. He had 5 interviews, and was on the wait list for acceptance to 2 of them. It's unfortunate, because his stats were solid... 3.8 cum, 3.6 science, 31 MCAT. Needless to say he is applying again this year. The interview can make or break you.
