I know this is a silly question, but I will ask it anyway. Do dental students take rotations in hospitals?

Thank you.

Hi,

I believe most dental schools do, yes. Here at UB, we rotate to area hospitals for pediatric dentistry and for OMFS. My sister attended NYUCD and they also had hospital rotations.

HTH!

Yes, most students do, and especially if their is a hospital adjoining the school or united with the dental school.

Pre-rounding, rounds, and grand rounds, are now becoming a more integral part of dental curriculums. I've heard from my advisor that 45% of the schools now participate in grand rounds on a weekly basis.
