Just for fun. What would you do if you could not do Dentistry?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Just a simple question. Please give your opinions.

For me, I love art so much that I think I would probably enroll in graphic design school and pursue a career as a Graphic Designer!!!!!:laugh:😀

I would strongly consider medicine.

I would also go back to considering my original interest, application to Cornell's surgical PA program.

If it had to be outside healthcare, I'd look into what it takes to become a pilot, as that has always seemed very cool to me!

Probably be a fluffer. Pays not that great but it's pretty much recession proof!

Cleaner. 👍👍
90% will misunderstand me.

I'd be a Chiropractor. Dentists would prob be my best clients haha.

Maybe an English teacher 😀.

If not dentistry, I always thought of pharmacy being a good second choice.

I'd further investigate med school and PA school. Right now I'd strongly lean towards PA school. I'd also look into grad school for physiology or biochemistry.

Maybe an English teacher 😀.

Maybe you can "mind your own business? hahahahha

There are two different kinds of the english language, the one taught by Americans and the one taught by the British.

Where I am from we spell "Centre", in America they spell "Center", we spell "Favourite" in America they spell "Favorite", we spell "Sulphur" in America they spell "Sulfur". So please spare me the ethnocentricsm...we do not use "you're" in any form or fashion.

Thank you :laugh::laugh:😀😀:laugh::laugh:

Gross. haha. Isn't that ironic that your hygiene went to shiz because you're a pre-dent? Or did I misunderstand you 😛

You obviously haven't watched one of the best movies ever: Leon (the Professional).

In all seriousness: Pilot, firefighter, or...that's all I got.

Advanced dental hygienist practitioner lobbyist. Maybe then my SDN name would be more fitting .... cue rimshot

But seriously, i'd probably put my electronics background and connections to work

Your has never been the same as you are, regardless if you are British or not. After you brush of ignorance, refresh your English before dental school.

OK, off*. Wreck? You're right

In in your words, your right.

Stock broker...I still have the thought pop up in my head every once and a while where I wonder if I should have done this. I really am addicted to the markets though and I spend a good amount of time daily watching CNBC and hitting up the business web sites. At least with dentistry I can still make time to follow the markets closely and hopefully make enough money to run my own portfolio. The same couldn't be said if I was a stock broker and I wanted to fix smiles on the side lol.

I'm thinkin' an RN. I'd probably work on a masters while I worked.

Being a high school teacher and coaching the basketball team wouldn't be bad either.

I understood you, but that was a terrible movie.

I'd be a scuba instructor.

👎thumbdown👎

...For my own sake, I am going to pretend you didn't just say that.

Guess nobody likes art as much as I do...??!!! I thought all pre-dents were supposed to like art, business and science lol....and Dentistry is the perfect marriage of both?! Isn't that what you all said in your interviews?? lol

I talked about how dentistry is a lot like the Nintendo Wii game Trauma Center. It's a marriage of health care and video games, two things that I love.

WOW, that's a first. I wonder what led you to this thought process?
