Hey guys, sorry to be a bother but it's me again....

I just got my MCAT scores back which turns out to be 10 PS, 9 V, 10 BS, and an R in writing.

I think that I have a solid GPA (3.9), science GPA (3.88), and a good list of electives:

300+ hours of shadowing a neurosurgeon
60 hours of shadowing a general surgeon in China
180+ hours of volunteering at a hospital and shadowing various residents in the ER
130+ hours of community service
1 year of research (no publications)
ex-Vice-President of community service fraternity, now President
Member of my major's focus group
Member of Phi Beta Kappa
Avid member/practitioner of martial arts(+ 6 years) and break dancing club

Sadly, I feel like my MCAT scores really put a dent on my application. What should I do?

I'm a NY resident hoping to stay in the state but at the very least, get into a med school somewhere....

Well I would consider dropping NYU, Columbia, and Cornell from your list in your previous thread.

Have you applied yet? You're applying this cycle, right?

I think you'll get in fine, but top tiers may be out of your reach with a 29.

I am trying to apply for this cycle and I am also aware that I won't be getting into any top tier schools.
