and I got a 33 with an 11 on each section. The bio wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be since many of the questions could have been asnwered without looking at the passage. The verbal was actually pretty easy. But I found the physical sciences a little hard. There were too many calculations and I actually almost ran out of time. Does anyone know how accurate the practice exams are in reflecting the actual exam, because I know that the practice exams use material from many different adminstered exams.

I thought that PT11 was one of the easiest ones, and did not reflect the real MCAT at all. I got PS14, BS11, and VR11 on AAMC#11 and the real exam I got PS 10, BS 12, and VR 9. The same trend happened with all the AAMC practice exams. I scored mid to upper 30's on all of them, and 31 on the real thing. 🙁

no one seems to agree about how the real mcat compares to AAMC 11, but I would say the average opinion seems to be that it is the most similar with the real test being slightly harder. But then again, each administration is different.

I know the hype sdn users give to the real test's difficulty definitely causes (at least for me) a bit of anxiety. If you are preoccupied about this though I would just let it go and do your best when taking the real MCAT (and not void unless you aren't able to finish a good portion of a section), and remember that your AAMC average will be the best predictor of your score.
