Just took the 2009 practice DAT... please help

Hi everyone,
I've been viewing SDN often but finally decided to make an account today.
My DAT is on the 19th, so in about 3 days.
I just took the 2009 DAT and am so disappointed. Any feedback would be great...

BIO: 19
GC: 24
OC: 19
PAT: 24
RC: 18
QR: 18
TS: 21
AA: 20

I've studied for about 2.5 months, I feel like I have given it my all, but these scores definitely frighten me 🙁

I don't have room to push the test back since I begin my classes right after the 19th.
Is there any hope for me?

these scores look pretty good. the math and rc sections seem a bit dated, imo and the general consensus seems to be the real dat is a little easier (also dependent on which version you get). you may want to spend a week or two going through dat destroyer for your chems. make sure you understand why you got those questions wrong. my real dat score was higher than my 2009 score and so were a lot of people's. i know pushing your exam back may not seem ideal since you've studied so much, i felt the same way but the two extra weeks i took to study were the reason i did much better than i had anticipated. dont let the practice exam scores bug you out too much, keep practicing and reviewing, you can do this!

IMO, these scores look great and you should not have a problem on the DAT. Just review what you missed on the 2009 test. Was it silly mistakes? If so, make sure not to make the same errors on the real exam.

RC and QR are known to be awful on the 09. My real RC and QR scores are way higher than what I got on 09 (around 19-20 on both). Don't be paranoid. Keep reviewing and calm down. I don't need a nutcase overload 🙂

@dentalgal1717 case and point above! you're so close to being ready. buckle down these last few days and dont be afraid to take a wee bit of time extra, it may be well worth it. i think most people have pushed their exams back and have never regretted it.

Don't be worried at all! I took the '07 and '09 test a couple days before my actual DAT and I was so disappointed. After studying day and night for 2 months it definitely lowered my confidence. I even considered rescheduling because I thought it meant I wasn't prepared. Luckily I didn't and it was the best decision! I ended up doing way better on the actual test! So don't let those test get to you!
