1. So visuospatial sketchpad concerns with visual images and phonological loop concerns with auditory information as well as visual verbal information. Correct? So where do you draw the line between what's considered visual and visual-verbal? Would any written words and letters (even in logos and signs) be considered phonological rather than visual?

2. Also, from the same passage, a question asked how to expand working memory; answer is obviously chunking, but can't another answer choice "semantic networking" (i.e. mind maps) do that, probably to an even greater extent?

For question 1, KA says that a stop sign will register in phonological loop since "stop" is a word. But what about a logo on a T-shirt or some artistic calligraphy?
