I have orgo edge, which is pretty good in the first part. But then the second part is the same crap you find in the blue book, and even though it says what the reactions will yield, it doesnt say how...

Is there any supplemental book that peeps have used? Schaum's?

Just took Topscore Test 1 for Orgo and got a 23, but that was guessing on a good number of questions. This sux. I need a beer...

i agree with this. theres not much info on how things work. I dont understand how people on this forum say that the organic section of the kaplan blue book is enough knowledge for the DAT. Maybe they are memorizing everything? i dunno... but what i did was go back and refer to my old college textbook for stuff that wasnt explained too well in the kaplan book.

Yeah I agree. Kaplan's Book is only enough for organic if you remember lots from your college class. Your best bet is to supplement w/ a organic textbook that will really explain each reaction.

I agree, the only thing is that I dont have my g. chem text anymore- i took that class LONG ago ~ 6 yrs..

Get it from a used book center, or call your professors if they still remember you for some good study advice.
