Hey guys, I came across an iffy question that I want to clear up.

Which of the following is true of anomers?
A. They are achiral
B. They are mirror images
C. They differ in the configuration of the first carbon
D. They differ in the configuration of the second carbon.

Answer in white : C

I managed to get it right, but I can think of a counterexample of the correct answer which is fructofuranose. Here are pictures of alpha and beta fructofuranose respectively.

Am I the only one who think fructofuranose anomers differ in their configuration of the second carbon?
