Is there a way to figure out which one is the functional group?

There are multiple functional groups - that's the point. There's no imine (aka Schiff base) - technically, there are C=N double bonds but usually these aren't part of heterocycles in imines (this is a bad question) - no phenyl (just a benzene ring with no substituents other than the attachment to the rest of the molecule), and no benzyl (same as phenyl but attachment is at a benzylic site).
