Kaplan says crossing over occurs during metaphase I

Now i'm scared that I studied a lot of wrong things in Kaplan :confused:

crossing over is in prophase 1, and by the way the DAT tests the big picture and a question like that is a big picture that is important in meiosis and the dat doesnt test small picky things like how tetrads line up, just do they pair up or line up, and they dont ask how things happen, just when they happen, kaplan is **** for bio move away trust me esp. for bio

Yo I am taking Dat in 2 days i studied for 2 months DAT bio then this last week i bought Cliff AP for 5$ beleive me it is worth it is interesting and easy outline u wont get bored and u will understand most of the majors topics good luck
 
Hmmm I remembering reading in my Kaplan that crossing over occurs in Prophase I of meiosis... I agree that AP cliffs is a good resource for Bio.
 
I have Cliff's too. I saw that "crossing over takes place in metaphase" in one of the answers" of a kaplan practice test. no big deal though :)
 
I bought Cliffs, 2nd Edition and I KNOW it had an error about cell divisions.
It confused anaphase with metaphase. Just a heads up.
