Hi Everyone,

So I'm beginning to prepare for the June 2014 MCAT (early I know, but I want to score as high as possible). I currently have the EK complete set and contemplating buying the audio osmosis to go along with it. I've been asking around and I'm starting to wonder if taking a course is a good idea? I spoke with my pre-med adviser and she told me Kaplan has a course on campus I should take in the fall and use my EK material for the spring. I'm conflicted because I've heard very positive feedback with EK and not so much with Kaplan. Additionally I'm worried EK will interfere with what I learned with Kaplan and vice-versa. I'm also concerned with being able to keep up with the class since I'm a full time student. I have all my pre-req's except for physics (I'm taking physics I now). Any pointers?

I started with Kaplan. I like their content material, their easy engaging style and humor. It took me 2.5 mnths to do all those books. Kaplan alone is insufficient, at least that's my analysis. I have heard their FLs are very good but you need to be enrolled in a course to get their FLs. I am currently doing TBR. Their passages have taught me way lot more than Kaplan. And TBR is quite difficult. I also work full time so there are limitations on my time. I plan to take it in Jan 2014.
