in a kaplan OC subject test it says that:
benzamide + -OBr = amine with one less carbon "Hoffmann Rearrangement"
but i thought that for hoffman rearrangement the reactants are X2, OH- for example Br2, OH-
am i missing something here or is Kaplan on crack?
