Hi there!

I recently just passed Step One and am now going into my M3 year. I was wondering if it was worth it to keep reviewing Step One material for clinicals, Shelfs, and eventually Step 2? I planned on trying to review a chapter in first aid each day but that does not feel very doable with my Step 2 studying and clinicals. DO you guys think it is necessary to do so or should I only focus on Step 2 resources?

Suspend anything that doesn't overlap and focus on step 2 material. Focusing on understanding management and going above and beyond in the clinical setting is a better use of your time to secure higher clinical grades. Of the few questions I've gotten that were primarily pulled from Step 1 material, I can usually vaguely remember and select the correct choice. The residual knowledge is in there somewhere I guess lol

Review your notes from Step 1 (hopefully you made condensed notes). If you feel totally lost, then try to group your questions into categories to brush up on. You really should not need to review that much from Step 1 in order to feel comfortable going into Step 2. Good luck! 🙂
