Kenya Internship

Hi i am doing my medicine degree in volgograd (russia) and on completion need to go back home (kenya) to practice. I was wondering if there was anyone who had studied abroad and gone back to Kenya to practice and do their internship... perhaps you would be kind enough to advise me on teh process. Thanks

Hi hardraj,

I have friends from Kenya who I had studied with abroad. Im from neighbouring Tanzania what I remember is they reported back to the Dept of Health with certified (or translated)copies of their medical transcript and degree. There was paperwork to be filled in then there is a qualifying exam you have to pass which is done twice a year. Once you have passed these exams(theory & practical) you will be eligible to be posted as a medical intern for a year.
