Does anyone know information about this school? It's new and not accredited yet but applied for accreditation. I just got offered an interview. I'm out of state but haven't gotten any other acceptances yet and wondering if I should do the interview. Let me know if anyone knows anything! I am also worried about going to a school that is not yet accredited.

It's hard to say because being a non-accredited new school means there is very few information out there. The school may not necessarily be bad but it's new. Non-accredited schools always has the possibility of what if they don't go through. Getting a degree from a non-accredited school won't let you take the boards. For some it's a last option, for others it's not even an option. It is a risk to a degree. You will have to decide that for yourself.

a. You may want to go to the interview just so you can get more information seeing if it's a potential school for you.
b. You may opt no knowing you will not go regardless of acceptance plus flying out of state is costly.

thanks for your input. I found out I can do the interview via skype, so I will probably do that just for some experience and then decide what the best option is. It would be their first cohort, so they would gain accreditation towards the end of the first class's schooling to make sure their curriculum is up to standards. That does scare me, going through all that and not being able to take the boards.

This is a bit judge'y, but did anyone else notice all of the errors in the invitation email? :eyebrow:

I was invited for an interview on Feb 20th with them and planned on going, but turned it down because I was accepted into another program that I really loved. I wish I could have gotten more information about them, but from what I saw Google maps street view they have extremely nice facilities in a very nice area. The one BIG downside of the program for me though besides not being accredited was the price tag. $100,000 for a doctorates degree is just too much for me!

Has anyone heard anything back from Kettering? Or does anyone know when acceptance letters are supposed to be mailed?

They said 3rd week of April everyone who interviewed should know there status

Wondering if all spots have been accepted and seat fees have been paid? Or if they send acceptances today too. Just trying to gauge my likelihood of acceptance from the waitlist.
