kinematics Help!!!

So I'm having difficulty applying and memorizing these equations. Oh and don't let me get started on free falling objects...physics is not my strongest subject, but I'm trying to apply it to practical situations to better understand it...Can anyone help with kinematics or free falling objects? I don't want to skip it due to frustration.
 
Do you know simple integrals and derivatives?

If so, I think that is the best way.

acceleration = constant = g

velocity = v = ∫a dt = ∫g dt = g∫dt = gt + c = gt + v0 (v0 = initial velocity)

position = (x,y,z) = ∫v dt = ∫(gt + v0) dt = ∫gt dt + ∫v0 dt = g∫t dt + v0∫dt = 0.5gt^2 + v0t +c
= 0.5gt^2 + v0t + x0 (x0 = initial position)

This simple integration provides all formulas by just knowing that the acceleration a projectile feels is constant and has a value of g = -9.8 N/kg.

I didn't learn it this way, but I will give it a try and see how it goes. Thank you

I just find it easier to derive than memorize.

Just want to say thank you, I now understand kinematics. On to the next challenge of projectile motion. So you will be hearing from me soon lol
