If you could just summarize why I am a town read in a sentence or two I would appreciate it. I know you’ve had a lot to say about me already, but it was broad strokes considering various possibilities. So a bottom line would help.

Now, the first observation on the VCA and what I noticed when re-reading a large chunk of the thread: I didn't like how Dubz danced around the mayo wagon, especially later in the phase. When mayo was an actual wagon she followed samac onto me, which tied me with mayo. And then after her own wagon started accumulating (and mine had died), she moved back to Pippy instead of mayo. This is despite mayo being GTH wolf for her that morning:


And also mayo being in her POE (this is shortly after moving her vote back to Pippy):


I don't like it.

Zenge made that reveal one minute before vote close. I don't really care how Zenge made the read, but most other players assumed Zenge was using his card and he intentionally didn't correct us

I feel like your presence in thread is broadly towny (especially postcapping and EOD D1, and now in D2 generally). I also feel like any pings I've had against you are more paranoia than legitimate.

I haven’t had a lot of time to consider living associations. It’s a good question though. The first name that comes to mind is mothy.

I think Dina is broadly compatible with most people including mayo.

Perhaps moonster if the current mayo wagon is as unlikely to resolve today as I expect.

I’d need to give it more thought. Any reason you’d dispute these names? Or people you think absolutely don’t fit?

My brain keeps coming back to this bit:

I know he already made this point himself so it's an extra layer of wifom, but: PSV's legacy for a w!Dubz was basically to protect Jay with her life and yeet mothy into the sun. She didn't seem swayed at all by the argument that Dubz/Jay were paired. That's a good person to have around when you know you'll be fighting off those accusations.

To flip it around, the PSV kill makes a lot of sense in a town!Jay world, because in that world Dubz' entire strategy d1 was tying herself to Jay as much as possible and PSV would have been the biggest obstacle to pushing him for it today. (And Zenge being alive would make sense beyond plot armor, since he was looking at Jay next if Dubz flipped wolf)

I don't think mothy's a wolf. Call it a strong hunch.

Dina/moonster I can't really clear, though I town lean moonster more than Dina. Partly on gut vibes, it didn't seem like moonster was working with TMI about how Dubz would flip.

I'm clearing samac mostly for Dubz' end of their early interactions. Their approach to each other seemed.. unbalanced, I guess? Didn't seem like distancing.

Nate is free to correct me; based on his vote spreadsheets, he probably keeps better notes on past games than I do. 😅

I used to keep more track, but I stopped at some point. But yeah, we've played a lot, and I don't think I've seen you wolf beyond the game I was running (maybe as a spectator). You're definitely not a noob and I haven't totally followed your thought process here at all points, but one thing I think people should keep in mind is that our homesite isn't forum based and this is a really different vibe and activity level (especially with basically all new people). So. At this point I'm just not really worrying too much about any "off" points, because I think I'll have a better read as the game goes on.

Nate seems alright today. I hesitate to award a ton of credit under the circumstances, but I think he’s an awkward fit with Dubz, and his recent solving is appropriate.

He could be the missing link town read that makes up for my destruction. I’ll think it over.

I’d like to know what everyone else thinks of Nate though.

It's basically a god read, yeah. He's had a perfect read rate on Dubz for I don't know how long, but it's been a while. So regardless of whether he thinks he used his reading card or not, anyone who knows and trusts that meta is going to sheep him on his Dubz read if he votes there.

I suspect mayo has been building his play off of thread mommy's play (conceding the loss of Dubz when it quickly evident that it wouldn't go their way and then signal boosting the theory that I am a teammate for damage control).

I just didn't get the sense that his Dubz sus or JJJ sus existed until the Dubz wagon was already a sure thing. (At least part of thatis that he just wasn't around due to work, so I realize it makes it a little trickier).
