I once as a wolf made a very dramatic display and flip-flopped voting someone I was village reading to save my packmate to make myself seem like a confused and unsure villager who was very torn about my votes, obv that's not what happened here because dubz was a wolf, but the sentiment feels the same re: wolfy theater

I was reacting to what I was seeing in the moment, it stuck out to me, so I made a comment about it. When I did I hadn't remembered you voted dubz earlier so I was under the impression you had flipped your read on her very abruptly, obviously I was wrong

With the earlier dubz vote I think it'd be weird for you and dubz to be aligned and so I'm not really feeling your vote today

Some of these are direct responses to suspicion Boquise had cast upon her. I think she looks like she is genuinely trying to explain herself to someone that isn't coordinating this conversation with her (i.e., Boquise isn't in her wolf chat).

This isn't all in order because of the Dubz/WildZoo split. Boquise had a somewhat turbulent read on Dubz throughout Day 1, but we should be clear about something: his final vote (the one that he has been catching some flak for) did not come out of nowhere. There was an established trend of suspicion clearly evident in his posts well before that point, and to ignore that is to basically ignore Boq entirely. I don't think this looks like a teammate of Dubz at all.

Conclusion

Boquise is town, and he should not be in people's POEs. That's one of my most comfortable reads in the game, and even if people don't take me seriously right now this better not be forgotten when I am dead. At the very least, take a close look at the full breadth of his dealings with Dubz before lazily dropping a vote on him because he is an unknown commodity to y'all.

@Boquise - neutral (V) - This is probably the closest I have to anyone as true neutral, but the rules are the rules. I desperatly want to be your sidekick, but I do find your reads to be a bit hard to follow. Honestly, I viewed the wavering before the Dubz vote as justification for jumping on another wagon if the bus didnt work ou. I need to give more thought to this, especially in context with your view on your own meta being sus to villagers.

What reads are hard to follow? Specify.
What other wagons did I try to make? During the time between me voting and re-voting Dubz, and then to make my final vote, there was ZERO vote movements and I was interacting with ZERO people to influence their reads and votes. What you see is a monologue that I could as well have not shared with any of you and just be silent for some minutes to then make my vote without ever explaining anything. So what other wagons did I try to make? Why dont I vote Mayo when I had 1) established a reason to vote Mayo, 2) following your own logic, wanna see if I can move away from a bus?

There’s a difference between laying out reads and declaring you’ve almost cracked the game if these five people stick with you. It pinged me so I shared.

By page 5 samac seemed like village samac. I have a very good record of reading her, but not usually that early in the game. Not sure why that’s confusing.

What part of tingles on a snap read makes you interpret that as anything concrete or binding?
Tingles, as in a slight prickling sensation. As in, not that strong. Snap read, as in extemporaneous gut read.


You didn’t just say the fact that those maths crack the game. You then laid out the bloc to do it with. Struck me as a power wolfy thing to do. It was the first thing that stood out to me. Not a vote for you. You’ve been very defensive about and attacked me saying I can’t be trusted.

I "did the things" in that game so to speak. I checked the generic boxes of what JJJ does. But I played with little-to-no edge, and I was a robot apart from the odd joke. There was no spark, and I didn't carry through with my work in any meaningful way. I built a POE advantageous to my team and pushed villagers until they turned on me. Only by about Day 3 did I show any sign of real emotion, when forced out of my roboticism by EnderWiggin and Dyslexicon (and later you).

The basic hunting mechanisms are NAI (GTH reads, doing interaction reviews, trying to establish a POE by finding town reads) -- what was missing was spirit. PSV figured me out pretty quickly as it happens.

with all respect to you, i wont click it because i need to have mental powers to read your posts here in this game and i want to recheck dubz interactions before i sleep. Asked cos I found your approaches in both games to be very similar so lets see what you wrote

so like, what you describe is the same as I see this game. You constructed a poe of easy pushes. You have been super calm and reasonable with you being pushed (which iirc you were in Halvosen Ridge), so I have felt like you have been a robot with the exception of empathising with me. But you also empathised with me in Halvosen.

We have not played many games together, but i have a massive respect for both of your alignments. I know that you as town aggressively construct poes and question a wider range of players on the start go. If you are town in this game, I guess you stopped mid track because a player (Genny or Pippy iirc) complained about you being too much, but that could also be a wolf strategically changing the approach.

But as of right now, I think there's a pretty good chance that my "POE of easy pushes" wasn't that bad in the end. I just got Dubz wrong, and then she got chopped first, so now I look like a clown, and that's the read people will remember, but when we look back after endgame I'll be able to say "yanno, it wasn't that bad, Jay, give yourself a break" -- because the current POE pool is "easy push" city. Sometimes it be like that.

What do you make of that everyone who participated in your game yesterday in real time decided that dubz was town, yet dubz got yeeted? I was super close to put scum but thought she had posted well enough to "deserve" a gth town read.

How do you think the wolves saw the thread atmosphere after? Imo they probably felt like Dubz was not in danger? Like the only person who voted her earlier was me and I looked like a madman. So I wonder if there is not some sort of comfy in the wolf thread right after the game, that should maybe have been changed to a subtle panic when she was gaining the votes?

The TL;DR I feel like wolf samac is more serious and jumps to pushes earlier and village samac is a little more carefree? (I think that's the best word I can use to describe it), village samac also LOVES to spew about how village she is

Hmm... This is a good point. I wasn't paying attention to who it was who jumped. It being Pippy implies at least 50% TR movement meaning less weight.
