KPCOM vs MSUCOM

Having trouble deciding between MSUCOM vs KPCOM. I know that MSUCOM is a better ranked school but location wise KPCOM is much better. Any experience with either school?

The state supported osteopathic schools usually have more resources and are viewed as the top options to go to. Nova has had a lot of complaints in the past from former students.

Has KPCOM improved in recent years? Is it now considered a good/top tier DO option?

Their board scores were improving but reverted down back to 87% for Level 1 in their most recent update. In 2021, they had 5 students fail to match (everyone seemed to match in 2022 at least). I do not think the administration is going to improve quickly either, which was a major complaint for students.

Not in the top tier, which has firmly been PCOM, DMU, KCU and many of the state-funded schools like Rutgers, TCOM and OK-St.

I mean, It’s not a carribbean school. if you’re comparing KPCOM vs not going to medical school, it seems like a fairly straightforward decision lol
