Just heard on news that some of the Walgreens stores could be sold to Kroger or Fred's pharmacy

Yup last I read, Freds, Kroger, Albertsons and potentially a couple PE firms are in those discussion.

Very interested to see how some of those make out in a smaller box format.

I see this potential buyout more like bad news than good news. These grocery pharmacies are struggling against the big boys. The only way for them to remain profitable is to expand.
