Clinical experience is more important than research if you have significant clinical experience volunteer/paid you will be fine. I have 0 research experience but still managed to get 2 MD interviews last cycles, albeit I didn't get accepted, lack of research experience was not the issue. Get some kind of medical licenses (CNA/MA/EMT..ect) and get pt contact and you will be fine.
