I was filling out my uniform sheet for July, and was about to write in my jacket size. Problem is I don't know it. My interview suit coat was a size 4. My white coat ceremony jacket was a size 32, and my hospital provided jackets were a size 14. Any guess as to which one is the real size? I'm 5"2', 110 lbs if that helps any.
Thanks

Isn't this supposed to be multiple choice questions (ie what size options is your hospital offering)? Your 32 white coat size sounds right to me; I just picked the same size that my smaller white coat was. I haven't seen my new white coat yet though, so I could be wrong.

yeah, size 32 is the size they're looking for... at least that's within the range of coat sizes they offer you at different schools for the white coat ceremony.

It sounds like they are using men's jacket sizes. I assume you are female because you wear a size 4. Best bet is to get someone to measure your chest size. You need to use a tape measue over the arms at the mid sternal level.

Not over the arms, under the arms.

White coats do come in what appear to be men's jacket sizes... I'd go to the website of a uniform company and click on their "sizing" link. You can compare your measurements with the sizes they list, which should be pretty generalized to other uniform places. I have bought stuff from http://www.allheart.com , so maybe you can try there...

Thanks for the help

white coats also come in ladies sizes/ styles.
