Hi,

I am just a PT, just interested in anesthesia but really know nothing (just find it fascinating). I was curious if anyone could tell me if a Laparoscopic cholecystectomy can ever be done with (sorry if I use the wrong terms) MAC or spinal anesthesia/epidural? I was just wondering if it can be done without general anesthesia...

Thank you for all that you do

Short answer is anything is possible, but no.

Long answer is that patients with questions about their upcoming surgeries should ask their doctors, not an anonymous internet forum full of doctors (and trolls). Closing thread.
