It's $1,300 more for intrase vs. microkertome both by expert cornea specialists. What would you do?

Since a machine does the procedure either way, what is your concern? Money? There are lots of satisfied MK patients. Lowest risk of perforation? Intralase.
Lowest risk of free flap? Intralase. Largest case experience? Probably MK. Least risk to ocular perfusion during vacuum phase? Intralase.

It doesn't take an "expert cornea specialist" to do any of those procedures well. I wouldn't even consider that relevant.
 
You'll be fine either way, as long as you get a proper workup and don't have KC or something.
