Okay, 2 weeks out, last NBME form 4: 244 about a week ago.

I'd be thrilled w/that score, so I just want to stay the same. I finished my complete read through first aid today, finished all of world and around 50 percent of all those I had gotten wrong. Finished around 80 percent Qbank and all of the Robbins Review Book.

Any suggestions for the last 2 weeks? I've got my plan which consists of rereading portions of the RR Path, some gross anatomy, rereading HY neuro and some subjects that I routinely forget. Maybe hit all of Goljans HY one day, along with one day devoted to physio charts/graphs, and probably one for just reviewing all the NBME's and those questions.

Thing is w/questions - I dont know how much I'm getting from them anymore - especially world. When I go through a block I already did get I get in the 90's. Qbank, just feels like a waste (as I finish it twice as fast w/half as much thinking).

So any suggestions as to any other good question sources/ideas other HY review?

Your plan sounds great to me. Perhaps devote part of a day or two beforehand to look at pictures (FA, anatomy, etc.) in addition to the physio charts/graphs you mentioned. I regretted not reviewing FA more because I ran out of time, I think it would be worth your while to review it a couple times if you have 2 weeks left. Drop Qbank--I also felt it was a waste after a certain point and don't regret quitting after only 60% done--do some more NBMEs for question practice if you haven't done them all. Other than that, I think the most important thing is to not psych yourself out--the NBMEs predicted the scores for me and a couple of my friends perfectly, so if you trust in that it looks like you will be getting a 240+ 🙂

you are on track for a HUGE score man - keep it up...

i would say do the re-reading for sure - and even if your question blocks are in the 90's i think it would be wise to do at least 100-150 a day just to keep things "randomly fresh" - so even though you spent a day reading specifics of neuro - you will still be seeing CHF, micro, psych pharm, etc in your questions - and keeping you on your toes...

i'm doing the same (getting in the 80's - not as much retention as you) - but i feel like i'm sort of "exercising" my mind to jump from topic to topic - and i always manage to learn some little detail i didn't pick up before...

also - the timing of questions should be ridiculously fast when repeating UW - so 100-200 questions is not that bad - where two months ago i would go through 50 questions in 3 hours (1 to take the block, 2 to review in depth) and max out on 4 blocks a day with reading - now i can hit 200 questions before lunch and read on remaining weak points in the afternoons...

2 weeks gives you plenty of time to accomplish the amount of reading you want to do - but i think it's too long to go without questions (and yet to close to your test to begin another bank) - so stick with the repeats...and be prepared to rock your boards...

I'd buy qbook and go through those since you're running out of question resources and it's a pretty good source. Keep yourself sharp, keep testing yourself. Make a list of things that you keep forgetting. Maybe take another NBME. Go through the 150 free questions, it's a good way to see what FRED is absolutely like. I recommend not studying the day before the exam.

Move the test date up a week, get it over with, and go to the beach. Mid 240's will get you in the door almost anywhere.
