1.) Gag reflex to test CN 9 and 10: Do we really try and elicit this, or do we just gently press their tongue down? My school makes a big deal about NOT eliciting the gag reflex on our standardized pts, so I'm wondering if this rule is true everywhere.
2.) Workup: Should we arrange this according to diagnosis? List (ANA, dsDNA for SLE; RF for Rheumatoid Arthritis) as opposed to listing them in any order without a description as to why we're ordering the test?
The First Aid book lists them in random order without descriptions, but it hasn't been updated for a while, so I was wondering if the rules had changed.
Anyone else have last minute CS questions? Post them here![Luckie :luck: :luck:](/smilies/cloversmile.gif)
