Last Minute Questions Before Sending Application

Hi everyone,

I am applying for medical schools this summer and I am just about ready to finally submit my primary application (I know it's very late). Can anyone clarify these two questions for me?

1) Do I need to fill out the reference letter section in order to get verified? (I think the answer is no?)

2) If I send my primary to just one school just for the sake of getting on that verification que, will I lose my place in the que for verification if I add schools next week?

1. You mean the letter of evaluation (recommendation) section? No you do not need them to be verified.

2. Not 100% sure if you will lose your spot, but I know everyone waits until they're verified and then adds schools. Judging from the message displayed on AMCAS when I tried to add schools before verification, I'm almost certain you will lose your spot though.
But until you're verified no point in adding schools anyway, right?

1) pretty sure the answer is no you don't but hopefully someone else can confirm.
2) Nope you can add later and it won't change your submission date.

The answer is no to both. These questions are answered numerous times on SDN search for more info.
