So my last semester of college and I want to take the easiest possible schedule inorder to have time for apps, some more ecs and of course the mcats.

I am taking two Bs online courses like Art history etc.

Bio 2, Chem 2 retakes (inorder to increase gpa)

And my writing requirement to graduate.

Does this look unfavorable to adcom?

I don't understand, are you planning to apply this cycle? For all intents and purposes, this cycle is over, and applying at this point would likely be a waste of your time and money.

Also, it seems like you're planning to pile a lot of work (that most pre meds do over the course of a few years) into one semester. This is likely frowned upon by adcoms, even if you manage to succeed in doing so.

I'd suggest that you spread your responsibilities out over the next year and apply early in the next cycle. Take a light load when you can and use that extra time to study for the MCAT. Allow yourself a good 10 weeks of studying every day to conquer the beast.

You seem to know what it takes to get into medical school, so form a reasonable time line and perform well and you'll be all set.

Best of luck.

Im applying next cycle obviously (coming june) lol. Im done with my major req. and have a good list of ecs and am continuing em this semester. I just asked if the course load I am taking is looked upon as easy and down upon by adcoms.

He's taking 2 sciences, he looks fine.

OP it looks like a normal semester load, I think you'll be ok. 👍

Oh, okay. I think it's your post title that confused me. I think that adcoms understand that we want to relax just a little bit before matriculation. I hope so, anyways, cause if not I might have a hard time explaining taking 10 hours this semester 😀😀

We do pick up on things like that. Keep in mind that we see plenty of people who take heavy loads in years 3-4, and so why should we pick you over them, other things being equal. We also weight MCAT performance relative to the course load of your major.

So, yeah, you might do well on the MCAT, but keep in mind that in medical school, you don't have the luxury of being to choose between walking or chewing gum. We expect you to do both.
