Okay... so I only need 6 credits to graduate, but I need to take atleast 12 credits for my scholarship.

I'm taking an advanced molecular bio class and head and neck anatomy... and then I was considering taking a film class and an online psych class. I'm not gonna lie, film and psych are absolute joke classes at my school, but I'm done with all my requirements and have taken well over the required bio/chm courses.... if I take these classes, I'll only have class on monday and tuesday.... and then wed-sunday off.... basically a dream schedule

Will it look really bad to d-school to take 2 cupcake classes my last semester? I've busted my butt the past 3 1/2 years and really want just one semester where I'm not taking 19 credits and on campus monday-friday.... but is it not worth it?

Anyone been in a similar situation?

I say that is completely fine and won't look bad to adcoms.

I did that all through school...or only took 12 hours total. Who cares, adcoms won't. Learn that head and neck anatomy well though, real well. It will be a huge help to you later on.

At my school if it is the last semester of your senior year and you don't need to take a full schedule to graduate, then you can petition the financial aid office to let you keep an equal proportion of your scholarship and take only the credits you need.

I'm doing the same thing - taking Immuno and Physiology....but the rest of my credits consist of yoga, aikido, and tae kwon do. I figure as long as I'm taking at least two advanced courses they shouldn't be upset with my final semester class selection otherwise.

My only advice is not to actually graduate until you actually get accepted to dental school (you can graduate in the summer of 08 if you need to)... That way in case you dont get in (hopefully not), you can still take classes without a problem

My problem was graduating in the spring, not getting accepted, and then not being able to take classes in the fall (because I didnt register as a non-degree seeking student). I have to wait until the spring to take more classes.

if you do not apply to grad - do the extra classes you take apply to your undergraduate GPA?
