For those of you in, or about to enter your last term in college, what courses are you taking?

I've decided to stop taking all sciences and relax, so I've signed up for a bunch of history classes. One of them is a freshman class so I can prey upon those young naive freshmen.. eer, I mean.. strike that... haha.

13 Hours:

(3 hours) Western Political Thought: Modern

(3 hours) British Government

(3 hours) Criminal Justice

(3 hours) Economics of Healthcare

(1 hour) Beginning Piano (for non-music majors)

bah! because i went premed late, i'm still taking orgo and studying for the mcat. 😉 but otherwise, i'm only taking a literature class (we are required to read lord of the rings this semester... 🙂 ) and TA'ing a physiology class and taking a senior capstone class for my major...not too bad...other than the fact that orgo is the bane of my existence...

Very tough semester for me 🙁 . I'm taking Biochemistry II, Intro to Human Gross Anatomy, Histology, Medically Applied Physics, and Survey of Dance...boy are my grade looking something kinda horrible at the moment! :scared:

I'm willing to bet that I have the easiest semester out of anybody here, as far as classes go (crew does kind of ruin it all for the overall)

12 credits (the minimum here)

6 credits of my senior thesis
3 tropical field bio (involves a trip to st. john, in the virgin islands for spring break)
1 cred Jr. Fellows meeting (a.k.a., a dozen students talk about how badly our theses are going)
1 cred OEB seminar (sit in on guest lecturers giving talks)
1 cred beginning shotokan karate

It doesn't get any easier than that.

umass rower - nice, very nice. 😉

takin 16 credits here...4 required and 1 for pure fun

evolution (to complete my bio major requirements)
intro to sociology (core requirement)
interpretation of cultures (core requirement)

Still deciding for next quarter, probably will be taking foreign language classes just for fun. I'm thinking a combo of Spanish, German, French, and/or Italian. I wanted to take some introductory courses in Japanese or Korean, but no offerings are available next quarter.

mcb 110L

politics of china

scandinavian mythology.....

my friend on the other hand took 1 class his final semester, which is what i wanted to do but i still had to finish up my major and minor requirements.

That's cheating, you're on a quarter system. And overall, I think 12 credits of classes like mine are about as easy as it comes. I think I forgot to mention that I have one homework assignment per week, total. Plus, no quizzes, tests, or finals. 99% of my graded work will be based on two papers and the presentations of those papers. The other 1% is that one homework assignment per week.

But then again, I've gone pretty hard for three and a half years, so I consider this my reward. I was already done with my bio major, spanish minor, and credit total at the end of the fall, and im pretty much still in school for three things: my thesis, the spring break trip, and crew. I think if one of those things was taken out I would have just graduated and spent the semester working (a.k.a. dragging myself out of poverty).

Man, that piano class is great. It is nine people, and we move at a decent pace. It is a good mixture of a blow off class, and one that is teaching me a new skill. The piano truly is a beautiful instrument.

I wish I were taking a military history class or something like that. Then again, I could watch the history channel. It seems like 90% of their shows are about weapons, WWII, and the Civil War.

quarter system school
