Hi, I know this has already been addressed to some extent in some other threads, but I just have one question that differs. I read that post 12/1 interviews have a lesser chance of getting accepted. Is this because post 12/1 interviews are given to the less competitive candidates or simply because of class filling? I ask because I submitted my apps in December and was offered interviews at Tufts, Columbia, and BU so far. I am concerned because they are so late. I was rejected by Creighton which was my last choice anyway (I half-assed the secondary). I have Columbia next Friday and I am kind of nervous as it is my first interview. Anyone have any advice? what are my chances, and are they lower because of how late my interviews are?

For someone with stats such as yourself, I wouldn't be to worried. You are essentially the competition. Schools are still looking to fill up there seats, but mostly with students like you! Good luck

A lot of places interview a smaller number in the fall and the majority in the spring. I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to get a seat, all those schools usually have plenty left at this point. Just do your best at the interviews and let the chips fall where they may.

So I interviewed at Columbia last week, BU yesterday and have a Tufts interview next week. I was wondering if I will hear anything from Case, Temple or NYU? This whole admissions process seems like a crap shoot. When can I expect to hear back realistically? the suspense is killing me, plus my brother keeps bugging me about staying in Boston and needing to find an apartment ASAP.
