Clearly she's been hanging around Jabba the Hut for too long. FORTUNATELY she lost like 60 pounds since this picture and, although she's visibly older, she looks great!

Hahahah no I mean the newer ones that came out a few years back where it is the characters when they were younger. I dunno those were just so boring/uninteresting to me. I say stick with a classic.

It's 12:13, and I have an interview in 8 hours. I was so calm earlier, but now I'm so nervous I can't sleep!!! :scared:

I feel like I'm going to a shooting gallery, and I'm the target. I don't like to script answers, but I've been thinking about questions they'd ask and how I'd respond to them... but every time I try to go over it again, it's never the same! I've never been this worried about coming up with answers on the spot before... I guess it's because this is kinda a big deal and all. I guess..... :laugh:

Anyway, if nothing else I'll end up staying awake all night and it'll help me fall asleep on the plane. Hope I meet some cool premeds tomorrow and not a bunch of douchebags. Unfortunately nobody on SDN posted they were going to be interviewing tomorrow. 🙁

I think the only answer that is worth "scripting" or even thinking about is "Why this school"? That question actually might require some research and forethought, but other than that....just relax and go in with a good attitude. I know you have a few interviews and seem to know a lot about medical school. I am sure you will do fine.

I tried to practice my answers to myself the night before and about 15 percent of that came out... Lol

However, it got me in. Moral hear is to relax, be yourself, and tell them what you really think, not what they want.

Btw, I think you both need sleep. :laugh:

......maybe, but its only 10:55 out here in Cali, and its 1:55 out there yonder in TN. Max, man, I think you better get to sleep yourself. Rest up as much as possible now. Afterall, those med students at LMU-DCOM looked pretty sleep deprived. Maybe you can make up for it now....lol 😀

Luckily I'm still in central time right now. Lol. However, it is still one and I am going to bed.

Maybe I'll just sleep all summer to prepare...
 
Late night dwellers.... ARISE!

So I had my interview today at DMU. I posted about it on the school specific thread. The more I think about it, the more I start to worry. Some of my answers were okay... I felt like I could've answered them so much better though. I think I advertised my weaknesses too much and didn't address my strengths, I hope they see through that though.

UGHH I need to stop thinking about it. Times like these I wish I was married or something so I'd have someone I could gripe to. 🙄

Anywho, I'm eating taco bell right now. I can feel the grease line my arterial walls. :laugh:
 
I don't think you can ever tell about how an interview went. Last year I thought one went well and the other was so so and I was wait listed at both schools. Its over now so just relax and focus on the next, but congrats for getting it done. Your next one will be that much better because you have the experience of one under your belt.
 
Finished the movie. It was good... but I couldn't stand the acting of the new girl. I cringed every time she screamed or cried or.... well, acted.

When optimus got mad, I knew some major stuff was gonna go down. 😎

You are funny. I can't imagine you not doing well in an interview.

I read these forums a lot...sort of stalkerish...but don't post too much as I am waiting until I submit secondaries. Once that happens, I'll probably become even more of a stalker.

Thanks, but I never rule out the possibility of me screwing something up. :laugh:

Hope your secondaries go well. You should start prewriting some of your essays if you have the time. I'm sure glad I did! It helped a ton and saved a lot of time and stress. 😉

original halo=awesome...all subsequent halos=ehh...but each subsequent COD has just been more awesome than the next...I was so happy black ops involved the vietnam war...i swear COD could make such an awesome game of the vietnam war..
 
Looks like I could be in for some late nights...I wont get much sleep waiting for my new MCAT scores on tuesday and TouroCOM-NY interview wednesday... Anyone check out that Battlefield 3 Beta on PS3?

What is this "read" you speak of, and how do I do it?

Halo 4 is going to be awesome. But soldierboy is right; a COD vietnam game would be so awesome.

Battlefield 3 is going to be awesome too, I'm sure. Haven't really stayed on top of it though.

Who else is getting nerd-shivers over the new Pokemon Stadium rumors?! Oh heck yaaaa. Just kidding..... *coughcoughnoimnotcoughachooo* ..... 🙄

Anyone here play Starcraft2? I played a lot last summer but haven't played since and am thinking about trying to get back into it to pass some time.

They make a book series that fills in the gaps between the games. It's pretty sweet.

And Pokemon stadium?! 😱
 
The only problem with the Halo games is that I suck at them. I started playing too late after the original release date, so all of my friends got really good and just kicked my trash every time we played. That made me want to play Halo less and less...so I got worse and worse. I really feel like I got the jump on COD though, I can hold my own in Madden too.

haha. I was always good at Halo and sucked at COD. I suck at Halo anymore, though since I never have time to play.
