Instead of faq.htm, it should have been faq/

Yeah, it's the "applicants'" "difficulties"!!

Dear AMCAS applicant,

We've discovered that a number of applicants have had difficulties with
the link provided in yesterday's message. This link, below, has now
been edited to prevent future difficulties.

What is AMCAS sending to medical schools?

In most cases, nothing.
For a few fortunate applicants, lots of unknown, supersecret, double encoded, incomprehensible jibbirish.

**How are medical schools using AMCAS provided materials?

They get little cardbord tubes.
They then wind the secret coded documents around until they have a roll suitable for hanging in their bathroom stalls.

**How do I release my MCAT scores to AMCAS?

This is easy...make your own photocopies of your scores (and everything else) and send to the school of your choice.

**I released my MCAT scores to AMCAS. Why can't my medical schools see
them?

Because...you silly...you don't look *before* you wipe. Jeesh....

**Is AMCAS sending paper applications to medical schools?

Everybody's but yours you dolt!

**How do I make changes to my AMCAS application?

Ask your maker to intervene on your behalf, or make a pact with Satan...See you do have options. :D

Well, I read through all their FAQ's, and I'm certainly glad to hear that everything is hunky-dory! ;)

So I guess for those of us lucky enough to be verified, most schools have 4 different versions of our apps?

Not that the apps are really different, but it seems this setup would make it somewhat likely for the med schools to misplace documents.
