Considering that Bill Clinton did a lot to help NPs out when he was president, why didnt they use an NP to diagnose adn manage all this stuff?

Oh thats right, it's because they are freaking hypocrites. For everybody ELSE'S health, NPs are equal to doctors. But not when its the Clintons. 🙄

Not sure why you're so upset. They're politicians. If you expected anything else, I'm sorry to inform you that they are all like that regardless of party affiliation. Anyway, more NPs means more providers that will rely more on radiology for management...probably better for radiology at the end of the day.

The article is written as if the hospitalists discovered the thrombosis on MRI themselves.

Drs. Lisa Bardack of the Mt. Kisco Medical Group and Dr. Gigi El-Bayoumi of George Washington University discovered the clot during a routine follow-up MRI on Sunday.

hmmm...

HMMMM...

Probably just poor writing by the author of the article. Not the first time that's happened in the news business.

and NP can be great.. just like many docs can be ****ty. my PMD is an NP (but with a phd in nursing....) and she is quite amazing.. ive heard horror stories from friends about their PMD who completely ignore what they are telling them

Good, I'm sure she's given you the "anything an MD can do I can do better so you are a fool for going into medical school" speech
