Hello everyone,

I am a pediatrician conducting a study on pediatric resident learning during the pandemic. In brief, our study is a qualitative study that is designed to understand what educational changes were made to pediatric residency programs due to the pandemic, with the goal to understand how education was perceived by residency program leadership and residents during this time. We have interviewed program directors about their experiences and are also interviewing residents, to help understand in further detail if program leadership and residents struggled with the same issues. Your participation would be extremely helpful, and it is our hope that results of this study will help to inform future educational interventions for pediatric residents during times of crisis.

Time commitment would be one 20-30 minute interview at a time that is convenient for you. It can occur over the phone or Zoom. We are hoping to conduct interviews over the next 1-2 months.

If you are interested in participating, please indicate your interest by completing this brief, 5 question survey (https://yalesurvey.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d5cplBLNZ972U98). Included in the survey is the consent, with further information about the study. This study was reviewed by the Yale University IRB and deemed exempt.

Feel free to message me with any questions!

Thanks!
