Hi, so this train of thought kinda started off from watching this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZgkInGIWFQ
I'm a D1 so I don't have much exposure to working on patients yet... I'm wondering if there are any tips that anyone has about how they help get their patients comfortable in the clinic (since I doubt we can get a $1,000,000 robot in our school.) Is there anything you've noticed that patients like/dislike? What has your experience been like with transferring what you've learned on dentiforms onto live patients in the clinic?
And a side question about SimLabs: Our school lab is in the process of setting up a SimLab, but I doubt our class will ever see them. (we're a state school with a state that's a bit behind in funds). So I'm just wondering if SimLabs really help in understanding how to improve treatment / not hurt the patient. Any thoughts?
