Pros:

-More established
-Better Match list and GME

Cons:
- Students complain of some degrading faculty and strict administration
- Winters are harsh

CUSOM:

Pros:
-Nearby to long time family friends (support group)
- Weather is more tolerable

Cons:
-55k tuition
-Campus is very rural
-Newer program

Hard to say no to being close to a support system. Especially if that means they are within reasonable driving distance and can provide company during the tougher parts of school. I have not heard complaints about CUSOM, so if you want to avoid the gamble, go there. You can make weekend trips to Raleigh as well.
